I love weddings, and I’m passionate about providing a great experience for my couples who are getting married, and my website is just one of the ways that I can do that.
I love working with other photographers to help them improve their websites too. No matter how much of a technophobe you are, there are ways to improve things so that lots of lovely couples can find you online.

What they’re saying…
‘Karen has been amazing since day one of working with her. Not only is my site doing amazingly well – but I now feel like I actually understand SEO. Her patience and willingness to ‘dumb things down’ for me until I understood it all is priceless. Her flexibility and approachability has been hugely beneficial and she always goes the extra mile. SEO aside, Karen has been a huge contributor to some great marketing ideas I’ve come up with too – which I can integrate with my SEO. Forever greatful, thanks Karen ❤️”
As a wedding photographer, designing a new website yourself using a template can be a very challenging prospect. I recently purchased a pro-photo template from an US based company for $150 & I needed help with, well everything! Karen Julia came to my rescue & held my hand throughout the installation, the designing & launch of my new site, which I was able to do within 4 days of purchase. She was very calming influence & knowledgable throughout the whole process. Explaining to me how & why, whenever I had a question, which has given me so much more confidence. Karen also helped me understand how to update the SEO section, which I had never used in my old pro-photo site. She explained how all of my images needed to be imported & tagged properly, how to properly title my blogposts, how to write the best content for google & how to update this information to Webmaster tools, which will help with my organic listing in the long run. I am very grateful to Karen for all her help during this transitional & stressful time in my business & can’t recommend her highly enough to those embarking on a similar path.
Before i started to talk to Karen I was stuck in a place with my business that I didn’t know how to get out of, it wasn’t just not knowing how to make a website better it was things I’d never heard of, things i didn’t understand like SEO, meta descriptions. I felt like I was bumbling my way through social media and using that as my only area of gaining clients. But as my product grew social media wasn’t able to support it and I was left in that spot that many people in my industry end up.
Karen came along and she was kind, compassionate and understanding, she listened to who I was and what I wanted to be and she didn’t just come up with a idea of what I needed to do, she had a action plan of how to do it too.
The 1st thing she showed me was how to make a well performing website. she showed me how and I built a whole new website from scratch. She then continued to show support, teaching me how to make pages better, explaining what each element was to each part of my site and how to make it to it’s best standard. She didn’t just give me the skills I need to achieve this huge task but she give me pride, hope and a sense of achievement in doing this on my own.
She explained blogging and it’s importance, Blogging was something I’d never done and to learn the skill was very important in my business, I’m now a confidant blogger, and I’m enjoying it too.
Each week me and Karen would catch up, she tell me any issues and how to fix them, even to the point of talking me through a problem step by step more than once so I understood it.
Karen isn’t just mentor, she’s a inspiration, she’s given me a new hope, she taught me skills that I need to run a good website and done this in a no pressure friendly manner. She’s understood my difficulties due to my dyslexia and she’s adapted what was needed to help me. Each time we spoke I got to learn a new skill, Karen is so up to date with her understanding of search engines and how Google works she’s giving me new information each time on performance and optimisation. There’s sections to my Google account I would never of known about if it wasn’t for Karen.
Now, 6mths down the line I’m in a much stronger place, my website is scoring much higher than it was, work is coming from my site and most of all I feel stronger, more positive and ready to do this, I now have a confidence I didn’t have before. Spending this time with Karen has showed me more than any college course, Google search or You Tube video tutorial ever could. Having that one of one help goes so far and helps so much, I feel truly inspired and confident in my running my own site now.
